Solar Water Heating

Let the sun heat your water instead of the gas company

Solar Water Heating

Energy Conservation Solutions (ECS) is a Solene solar water heater dealer and installer approved by ENERGY STAR. A solar water heating system will reduce your annual water heating costs by 50-80% on average in the north Georgia climate. The system is designed with an electric component in the tank to be used as a back-up water heater when there isn’t enough solar heated water available. With the current 30% Federal rebate coupled with the 35% Georgia state rebate, the cost of the system is extremely affordable. Additionally, the average life expectancy of qualified solar water heating systems is 20 years which is much longer than standard gas or electric storage water heating system.

In addition to the substantial energy cost savings, the positive impact on the environment is substantial. According to the EPA and US Department of Energy, installing a qualified solar water heater will reduce the load of your electric water heater by approximately 2,500 kWh per year, preventing 4,000 pounds of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere annually. This is the equivalent of not driving your car for four months every year!

Our pricing will vary based on a number of variables taken into consideration. The cost of the system ranges from $4,000 to $6,000 before the 65% tax rebate and the installation cost ranges from $1,200 to $2,000.

ECS installed this system on the rooftop of Pulaski County jail. We found that jails use a lot of hot water.
